Sweet, backyard baby shower for Taylor
This mama probably doesn’t need an introduction from us, but in case you aren’t a glitter girl yourself, Taylor is the founder of the super popular site The Glitter Guide. We featured her gorgeous pink & gold wedding last fall, and now a year later she’s preparing for the birth of her baby girl.
What a beautiful bump! Fits perfectly in her flowy Free People dress.
She and her mom planned a sweet backyard shower for family and friends. She wanted to plan a white, ethereal, slightly earthy party to celebrate her pregnancy and her baby.
Her pretty invites are from Minted. Love the addition of greenery and baby’s breath to the decor. Simple, beautiful, and totally budget friendly.
She kept the table decor simple with a burlap runner from Michael’s and loads of greenery her mom bought at the grocery store.
Taylor made honey favors using honey from her friend’s farm, packaged up in little glass jars, also from Michael’s.
Taylor’s mom made all of the delicious food, and helped Taylor with the styling of the event.
She reused baskets from her wedding for the succulent centerpieces. Love when decor you’ve already invested in gets another use!
The party included a delicious cocktail bar, even though the lady of honor wasn’t drinking. She wanted to make sure all the other ladies could have a drink to celebrate, even if she couldn’t.
Taylor’s sister is the baker in the family and created a huge spread of delicious sweets.
Beautiful shower, Taylor! You and your family did such a beautiful job and more importantly, what a special reason to celebrate. We can’t wait to meet baby Elodie!
