Black and white Danish baby shower for a traveling mama
While baby showers are not common in Denmark, as an American living there, Tina Fussell felt compelled to throw one for a British friend expecting her first bebe. She did an amazing job putting together a thoughtful, modern, budget-friendly party.
By using a color palette of navy, black, and mint she combined a bit of British and Danish style. And to help with her budget, she decorated with things she already owned such as her Kahler vase and Ikea chairs and fabric. That way she could splurge on gorgeous flowers!
She also created several things that kept her costs low, like her DIY painted wine glasses, artwork for the dessert table, and individual canvases for each of the guests to take home.
Cute little heart canvas favors!
Simple and sweet floral cake topper.
And the lovely statement art piece she created for the dessert table. Love how sophisticated her DIY pieces are, don’t you?
Awww, a little Ferm musical mobile! Those are the best.
Beautiful party, Tina!! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful, adopted Danish style.
