DIY terrarium party at Seesaw SF
Love this sweet, simple party Jeanne planned for her daughter Hayden’s 3rd birthday. They chose one of their favorite kids’ spaces in San Francisco, Seesaw, where they knew they could host an easy arts & crafts party for Hayden and her friends. But since they’re only 3, Jeanne had to choose a project that was easy for little fingers to do. Terrariums, of course!
A great tip from Jeanne for other SF families:
“When Hayden was a baby, Seesaw was a cafe-slash-play-studio and I used to love coming here for a cup of coffee and mingle with other moms. This space no longer opens up as a cafe, but the owner, Sabrina, who is a child psychologist, turned this space into a learning studio where she offers a variety of classes during the week that promotes social well-beings for kids and families. And on the weekends, you can rent this space out for parties! It’s the best because they have a little kitchen to serve drinks, coffee, (and even booze if you want), and they cater food in from reputable vendors. The space is already so cute so there’s really not much decoration needed. They also have a staff on hand to help out before, during, and after the party so all we needed to do was show up and enjoy!”
Moss and air plants came from the amazing Flora Grubb.
Fun snacks for little mouths.
Such a cute family!
And an even cuter group of kids!
How satisfying for little people to create a teeny world in a jar.
You can see more of Jeanne’s write up on the party on her cute blog, Shop Sweet Things. She’s a great pinner too, btw. Someone you definitely want to follow!
