Pink & gold baby shower
Our reader Mandy planned this fun Portland baby shower for her sister Jessi, using all sorts of things that Jessi loves. Lightning bolts, pink, gold, hearts: all poppy details that make for a fun girls gathering. Mandy made a bunch of the details herself and said the entire party was truly a labor of love from family and friends. Which is just the way a party celebrating a new mama should be.
Photobooth!
Mandy made the invites herself, complete with a glittered lightning bolt. And those pretty ombre clothespins below.
Love seeing photos of the new mama and papa as babies.
The gold mason jars were actually a DIY from Mandy’s wedding nearly 2 years ago. Props for recycling your projects, M! And if you love them, we actually did a painted mason jar tutorial over on 100 Layer Cake 3 years ago, if you can believe it!
Each guest was asked to share their wishes for baby on a glittered star, to be hung up around the party.
Jessi’s friends made all the delicious and incredibly cute desserts.
Congratulations on the birth of little Lilah June, Jessi!

How fun! Love those gold mason jars--I can't blame mama-to-be for reusing them for this celebration.
