Alicia’s “Ready to Pop” baby shower
Hope this doesn’t spoil the surprise, but word has it that Alicia has already popped! She welcomed her second baby girl last week, little Pia. But her shower is still sweet and fun to share.
Love the “ready to pop” theme full of all things that go POP!
Alicia’s friend McKenzie chose the theme because she was looking for a gender neutral idea that was as vibrant and colorful as everything that Alicia loves.
Instead of a shower game, they had a raffle… for every pack of diapers you brought, you got a ticket. And at the end, instead of a favor, one lucky lady took home a gift certificate to La Bichette for a blow out and makeup sesh. Brilliant!
Guests created an origami piece that would be included in a mobile for bebe’s new room.
Those “popsicle” macarons are amazing.

Love the balloon cake topper! Where are they from? I'm throwing a shower in a couple of weeks and think it would be great.
