Nursery design idea: Desert Rose

Categories   Nursery + Kids Room Decor

Following up on our pretty girl’s nursery color palette idea from earlier this today, here’s a round up of some products that could make this idea come to life. When we think of desert, we think of minimalism paired with bits of pretty textiles, objects, and patterns. Here’s what we came up with:

Desert Rose nursery idea board | 100 Layer Cakelet

1. Feather mobile - Sold out, but hello! How easy would this be to make?

2. Bronze stick stars

3. Alabama Chanin for Heath Ceramics – might as well pick a cute bowl to hold little socks or diaper cream on the changing table.

4. IKEA Sniglar crib – soooo simple and so inexpensive. But then you can choose nicer accents for the rest of the room!

5. Kelly Lamb geo planter – pretty way to bring some green into baby’s space.

6. Geodes

7. Dipped stool – use it as a teeny table or a place to sit and look out the window.

8. Rustic teak ladder – wouldn’t this be great for hanging/storing baby blankets and swaddles?

9. Linen throw

10. Little Cat Design Co. paper cut art

11. Paper wall lamp

12. Kalon Studios changing trunk – love that this converts from a low changing table into toy storage

13. Block print crib sheet

14. Snow peak wool rug

15. Original watercolor landscape

16. Maileg Bambi doll

What color would you paint the walls with this decor?! I am struggling what color to paint the nursery, a shade of grey or tan, because we will do not know the gender yet so I will add girl/boy accents after baby is here and we find out the gender!!! LOVE this for a little girl though! (which, I am 99% sure I am having ;-) )

It's nice that one of my products was featured here, but not that nice for you to belittle my work by saying how easy it would be to make. It is a simple concept, yes, but when made with care and when made well, takes a considerable amount of time. Thanks.
