While we love an over-the-top celebration too, we totally agree that these parties aren’t realistic for most people (or for us!). When we show these we hope that moms who aren’t event designers can at least get inspiration for parties they plan themselves.

But that being said, we’ll definitely work on showing more down-home, DIY parties too. Those are some of our faves.

While the pics are beautiful and there are some great ideas for adult events, the entire story I was like, “Um, what is the point of all this for a 2 year old? And are these types of parties really for the 2 year old or for the pretentious “look what we did” parents?”
