Any mamas out there on the hunt for inspiration for a shared sibling bedroom? Or just the cutest girl’s room theme ever—yep, that’s floral cactus wallpaper—especially for the modern boho type. Melanie of Rave Interior Design whipped up this pretty design for her little gals aged 4 and 2, creating a fun statement wall and making use of lots of lovely vintage pieces.

Melanie says, I love using vintage pieces throughout my home… It adds a great story and character to any space. These books were passed down to my husband from his mother. They are old Nancy Drew books… and we have a set of five which I just adore! I read all the Nancy Drew books and I can’t wait for my girls to read them too. How special to have a vintage set from their grandmother!

How does a kiddo room for two stay so fresh and shiny, you ask? There’s a special space in that there dresser for tossing in toys. Genius.

This gorgeous dresser was also a family heirloom that no longer fit in their master bedroom, so they passed it on to the girls!

I also love this little medallion rug from Overstock.com. I knew I needed to stay away from white… it needed to be earthy to ground all the white in the room. I had been gushing over this one for a while, so when I decided on the wallpaper this rug instantly popped in my head! I’ve been really happy with it so far. It was pretty rough when it first came… and I was worried about it not being very comfortable for the girls. But it has become really soft over a short period… So I’m super stoked that we can keep it in the space!
