Don’t know about you, but there’s no better way for us to jump back into things after a nice long weekend than getting inspired by group of creatives coming together to celebrate their sweet friend. Especially when it’s with a theme as cute as ‘everything’s coming up cacti’ like this baby shower Kelley of Kelley Cannon Events whipped up for Lindsey of Highland Avenue Events in Austin. Thanks to Sophie Epton for sharing the photos with us!

What happens when two dear friends also happen to be event planners and were inseparable colleagues for years, are torn apart by thousands of miles when one husband’s job was transferred from Washington DC to Austin, TX? We look for any excuse we can to plan celebrations and events for each other! Needless to say, when Kelley of Kelley Cannon Events found out her past team member and dear friend Lindsey of Highland Avenue Events was pregnant with her first child, dreams of Texas baby showers and desert details started raining down. Kelley enlisted the help of one of Lindsey’s past brides, Sarah, and an incredible team of Lindsey’s industry friends in Austin to bring her shower to life.
