Been a minute since we’ve had a good, fresh nursery tour here on Cakelet, hasn’t it? We’re already feeling calmer just looking at this baby blue + white space Kendra Bester Design dreamed up. It was all about making those earliest moments with babe snuggly and peaceful. Not only that, but one baby could grow into and that mama and dad would find peace in during the most chaotic of days. Thanks to Gooseberry Studios for sharing the photos!

This chair is the IKEA BYHOLMA made much cozier with a few textured pieces.

A few deets on the design… Combining simplicity with elegance, this chic nursery presents a serene ambience punctuated by cute, quirky items that lend an air of mindful playfulness to the overall feeling of the room. The gorgeous 8×10’ hand-knotted rug makes the small room feel surprisingly spacious. Drawing from the rug’s delicate breathy blues and mauves, a soft muted color palette came together, culminating in a luxurious, airy and polished aesthetic.

Gooseberry Prints was actually behind the sweet donkey print too. Her shop features the most magical photos of rescued animals in storybook settings.
