Pancake-themed brunch baby shower
Pretty invite alert! This pretty light blue baby shower is full of lovely paper goods from Vita Popov Studios. Danielle of Elise Events designed the event for past her bride and new mama Jen whose nickname for their forthcoming little guy is pancake. So many sweet details Gagewood documented below!
Danielle says, Guests were greeted with a custom escort sign and mini bowties, reading “sit your bottom”! We kept the shower free from games as our guest of honor was not a ‘game gal’. To keep things fun and entertaining we set up a tattoo station with custom tattoos that read, “pancake tribe”, a late night diaper making station, a block party station and a “wishes for pancake” station! Brunch was filled with Mom’s favorites, and of course, a mini pancake bar! With cocktail in hand, guests goofed off in the pancake photo booth. Guests were sent home with ‘make-at-home’ pancake favors – wrapped in linen fabric, a mini whisk and a sweet note from ‘pancake’!

And some words from the mama to be… Everyone is always curious as to where Pancake the name came from and it was just a sweet Sunday morning when my husband opted to name the baby Pancake as opposed to us referring to it as an ‘it’. So when it came around to starting to think about the shower I told my mom that I wanted to be totally surprised and only had a few reservations—I’m not big on the typical ‘baby shower games’ and I just wanted everyone to come and enjoy a nice lunch. I was so thankful that my mom enlisted the help of my wedding planner, turned friend, Danielle with Elise Events to assist her.
With everything being a total surprise, Jen was so thrilled to receive her own beautiful invite in the mail.
