So, this baby shower captured by Lindsey LaRue Photography? Niki of Seventh Bixel whipped it up for her sister Ali, who is expecting her second girl this winter. We hear that A is a super hardworking mama who puts so much love and attention into caring for her fam, so it was no surprise that Niki wanted to go all out with the design details of her celebration. Niki says, I pulled in farm tables and a mixture of both vintage and modern furniture to create a lounge, bar, and gift station. Each place setting had a constellation placemat that tied back to our invitation and a dessert plate that I purchased from Anthropologie that mimicked our pink and juniper blue constellation. I alternated blue and white napkins to mix up the table slightly and placed vinyl star and moon transfers sporadically on the table.

For the custom backdrop where my sister opened her gifts, I wanted to create something that could not only be used as a backdrop but could also be placed behind the crib in the nursery as the perfect accent wall. My brother Roman and I layered several colors of spray paint on the board to create a cosmic like pattern. We splattered paint for the stars and then once everything was dry I went over the top to add the verbiage and final touches.
