While we do love the more thoughtfully styled family photos we share here on Cakelet, we also adore simple shoots that capture a family just as they *really* are in their home. This session by Amy Frances came about during a long morning she spent with Teddy, Charlene, and Arthur at their home in Greenpoint in Brooklyn. Pretty sure they’re going to love looking back on this moment in time when their little one is big.

These are the moments that make up parenthood. Just the simple, every day kind of stuff when you slow down and really BE with your children. So easy to get caught up in everything else that life requires, but this is it, isn’t it?
